Coaching Services

There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution for families trying to navigate addiction and recovery. My goal is to serve the exact family in front of me. I use a combination of psychoeducation, coaching, and support to help family members identify their recovery goals and seek their own healing. My approach is to encourage families to focus on their own areas of agency, and to walk alongside them in their journey to increased self-awareness, insight, and empowerment.

When one member of a family shifts, the whole family shifts. That’s true in active addiction and that is true in recovery. While you cannot get your loved one sober, you can begin your own recovery process now. Your healing is your decision.

I genuinely believe that every family I encounter is doing their best with the tools that they have. Every family. No exceptions. The fact that very few families are able to effectively support someone in active addiction or early recovery without help is not surprising. So much of what constitutes effective support is counterintuitive at a cellular level. It’s not hard because you’re doing it wrong (even if you are doing it wrong.) It’s just hard. And you absolutely don’t have to do it alone.

Family Recovery Coaching

This ongoing partnership is geared toward helping families better understand the disease of addiction, the multiple pathways to recovery, the adaptive roles assumed by family members, boundaries, self-care, and the benefits of family therapy and community support. Participants will set goals for themselves and acquire the skills necessary to take better care of themselves and provide effective support to their loved one struggling with addiction. Weekly sessions combine coaching, education, and support. Up to four individuals can participate in sessions.

Also included, bespoke resources, and telephonic and text support as needed.

Boundaries Coaching

No one gets or stays sober without boundaries, and no family is able to stay on their parallel path to healing without the ability to identify, set, and hold healthy boundaries.

Boundaries are not about control and separation, they’re about self respect and connection. My philosophy and process are rooted in love and agency, and will radically change the way you approach setting limits and communicating your needs.

This two-month offering consists of four hour-long sessions and telephonic and text support as needed.
